Atom AA win Silver at Oakville Harvest Tournament!
The Atom AA's had a terrific showing at this years Oakville Hornets Harvest Classic Tournament. Playing a controlled game style, and overcoming obstacles like a power blackout during their first tournament game, the Atom AA's won their first 2 games convincingly against the North Bay Ice Boltz and our traditional rival, Oakville. Although our girls lost their 3rd game to a very large and very dominant Etobicoke team, the girls were to meet them again in the final. This time, the game was tied 1-1 right into the 3rd period when Etobicoke scored. With only a couple minutes to go, the Atom AA's pulled their goalie and put great pressure on Etobicoke, but eventually we were scored on the open net. Nevertheless, a SILVER finish for an amazing effort! Way to go Girls!!!!
