Welcome to U15BB tryouts.
I will be posting updates here as we get closer to my tryouts which are expected to start just before the A tryouts finish.
I’ll take a minute to introduce myself and explain my coaching philosophy.
As a dad of three competitive hockey players, I have been a coach for various teams for many years and a head coach for the Devilettes now for the last two years. My day job involves managing people and leading teams which has proven beneficial in the hockey world too. Both years as a Devilettes head coach we qualified for Provincials and I am proud to say that my U13BB team just brought home the 2024 Provincial Championship!
My Philosophy:
I strive to physically and mentally develop self-confident athletic leaders both on and off the ice. I teach so much more than just a game.
In addition to hockey skill development I believe strongly in and focus on the following:
-creating a safe, positive environment for the players to learn without the fear of making mistakes
-developing each player equally to be able to perform in those high pressure situations
-Building each players self confidence to enable them to perform to the best of their abilities.
