Bantam BB win Silver in Niagara Falls Tournament
The Bantam BB traveled this past weekend down to Niagara Falls for some go karts, haunted house, and midway fun. While there they played some hockey and took home a SILVER medal!.  


Friday the London Devilettes took on Mississauga Hurricanes where Chande shut them out 5-0.  Next up were the Ancaster Avalanche, they were strong and fast but the girls kept the win with a 4-2 score. Saturday morning the day started with another win with a 1-0 score against Grand River Mustangs where Chande got another shut out.  That afternoon Brampton Canadettes met us and we left with another win and a shutout for McCabe with a 2-0 score.  Finishing in 1st place out of all 15 teams allowed the girls to get a bye straight into the semis on Sunday.  Here we met up with Clarington Flames.  They battled hard but couldn't put the puck past Chande and the Devilettes with a 3-0 win and a ticket to the Gold medal game with 5 straight wins.  The gold medal game was tough.  Kitchener Rangers came out fast and strong and took the lead early with a score of 2-0.  The Devilettes didn't give up and they battled hard the whole game with lots of chances but couldn't sink the puck.  
The girls truly showed their best this weekend and worked extremely hard!  If this past weekend shows how the rest of the season will be then we know it will be very fun and successful!  Excellent work girls!!
