Atom HL White Unicorns win Silver at CYGHA tournament
The White Unicorns had a great tournament and took home the silver medal at the CYGHA Panther Pride House League Tournament!

 

The team went 4-0 in the the round robin, starting with an 8-3 win over the Fury on Friday morning, then a 6-0 win over the CYGHA Gold team in the afternoon, Saturday started with a 4-0 victory over the Georgina Golden Hawks, and finished in the evening with 3-1 result over the CYGHA Orange team.

Sunday was a long but exciting wait for the final game at 1:45. The game started with both teams pushing hard, but the CYGHA Green team scored first.This did not deter the unicorns who tied the game shortly after and then scored and took a 2-1 lead on the scoreboard only to have the goal reversed before the puck drop. The game continued back and forth until late in the 3rd period when the Green team took the lead again 3-2 and then scored an empty net goal.

The unicorns didn't let the adversity of having a goal taken away affect them and showed great resilience and battled hard. A great final game, congratulations to our White Unicorns for their Silver medal!!
