Welcome to all the girls signed up for the 2015-2016 Novice House League.
My name is Danny Larocque and I am convener as well as one of the coaches for the London Devilettes Novice house league for this coming season. I am looking forward to a great season with our little hockey players with an emphasis on fun and development.
Our season starts on Saturday October 3rd at 9:00am or 10:00am at Silverwood Arena and all players should come ready to skate in full equipment. Our schedule is Saturdays at Silverwood Arena at 9:00am or 10:00am and also Tuesdays 5:30 and 6:30 at Argyle arena. These times will be posted on the Devilettes website, under the Novice division. The novice house league can be found on the Devilettes website at http://londondevilettes.ca/Leagues/1718/.
The first four ice times will be used for the coaches to assess the girls in order to create four equally competitive teams. I will send out an additional email, with your assessment times. Once the teams are picked, the next two ice times will be used for practices. After the two practices, we will be playing games on Saturdays, and having practices on Tuesdays.
I am planning to keep the Novice web page on the Devilettes website up to date throughout the season. I will be adding pictures periodically, among other things. If you don't want pictures of your child on the website, please let me know.
If any parents are interested in coaching this year, please let me know. We still need volunteers to be head coach.
I want to make sure I have everyone's correct email. So if you could please respond to this email, so I know you have received it, then I will only call those that have not responded to make sure they know about the first ice time.
