The new season is starting with practices on October 20th. Tuesday practices are at Argyle, Saturday is game night (first 2 weeks are practices, then games), Sunday afternoon is a full ice practice (rotating between all 5 teams) with all weekend play at Western Fair.
COVID restrictions are going to be a challenge this year - 3 on 3 hockey to begin, just 10 players per team. 15 minutes before games you should arrive, and players must leave within 15 minutes of games/practices ending. By dumb luck we had exactly 50 players sign up - the limit before we'd have had to split the league into 2. Lots of new girls from U13, a few new ones from out of town, and a few returning from last year's U15 teams. Lots of chances for new friendships and tons of fun ahead.
One parent per game/practice is the limit - you must fill out a COVID form before coming, all players must fill in their COVID form (soon to be replaced by an app).

Please respect the people at each arena who are trying to enforce the rules - they didn't set them, most arena rules were via the city, while most hockey rules are from the governing board for all girls hockey in Ontario.
