We are heading into our last Hockey Canada Pathways skate today and James and I wanted to send along a couple of notes about what will unfold over the next two weeks.
- You will continue to have your player skate at the assigned times with the same groups on Tuesdays and Saturdays at Argyle. See message below (if there was an adjustment to your time that is not reflected in the original email from Peter, come to the same ice time you have been for the last two weeks)
- Assessments will take place over 3 skates Tuesday Oct 19, Saturday Oct 23 and Tuesday Oct 26. For your awareness, assessments should not add any extra level of expectation or stress to your player; have them keep focusing on what the on-ice coaches are asking them to do and have fun. This process is completed to create balanced teams across the division with the intention of facilitating development of all skill levels during the season.
- On Tuesday Oct 26 we will collect the sweaters you were assigned for these skates, so please be sure that you hand them to myself or James before you leave the rink that evening. If you cannot attend that skate, please reach out and we will figure something out.
