Ice times begin!
Hello parents. Thanks for your patience as we get the final details out for the U11 HL year. Ice times start in October and run until late March. We are Thursdays at Farquharson and Saturdays at Kinsmen.
For the first 4 sessions we will not be into teams yet. The first Thursday and Saturday we will run a practice and get the girls moving. This is meant to give everyone a couple ice times before we begin to assess their level. The second week we will do assessments to rank the girls as best we can. After assessments are done coaches will draft teams trying to balance the skill on all teams.
For the first two weeks - the earlier ice times will be last names A-L. The second hour will be last names M-Z. I Know it is tough being 5:30pm, but try and arrive very early for the first ice time to get your jersey. Someone will be there at a check in desk one hour before the ice time.

I will be sending a note to all volunteers today who have mentioned they would like to help this season. If you would like to help in any way please let me know. We are always in need of volunteers - check in desk, coaches, assistants, trainers, convenors, board member and more - no experience needed for any of these just a time commitment to make things fun for the girls and we can help with training and guidance.
