Try-outs for Atom BB/B are Sat May 10 at the Western Fair - Tony's rink from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM and Sunday May 11 at Western Fair - Wastell rink from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM.
I am very excited for the opportunity to coach this years Team. I want to wish all the girls good luck in trying out for the Atom BB/B Team !!
As head coach I am completely dedicated to the development of every player I choose for the team. The team will have 2 practices per week as well as 1 or 2 games per week. Attendance at practices is mandatory as player and team development depend on commitment from players as well as coaches.
The Atom BB/B team will be registering in 4-6 tournaments over the course of the season. We are looking at the the possibility of one tournament in the United States so if there is an issue with passports please let us know. Tournaments are a great bonding experience for the team, allowing players to play a variety of teams from various organizations and develop a positive team atmosphere. There will be a number of expenses over the season that will need to be covered by individual families (ie. expenses above those in the team budget). These expenses include: tournament hotels, on ice uniform (minus jerseys), and an off ice uniform. Once the BB/B team has been selected there will be a player and parent meeting to further organize the team for next year and answer any questions that parents or players might have.
