What's High in the Middle and Round at Both Ends?
It's Ohio, specifically the state capital of Columbus,
where the Bantam AA's spent the weekend playing in a showcase tournament.
The crew took in a Blue Jackets game (boom!- goes the cannon), a
Ohio State-Bemijidi State women's hockey tilt, and fit in four
excellent games. The team came away with a 1-1-2 record, and were given
the opportunity to play in the OS women's rink. We found out what a
Buckeye is (the state tree), explored a bit of the enormous campus
and listened to an insightful seminar. Big thanks to The Ohio State
University for their hospitality... we will “dare to play.”
