Pink the Rink Tournament
This weekend the 602 travelled to Etobicoke, draped in pink, for the  Pink the Rink tournament where they once again met up with the Mississauga Chiefs in the semi final game.

Although the score was the same as the last time they met in the Harvest Classic, this time the girls were on the other end, losing 1-0 to the eventual tournament champions.  It was a great weekend as they went undefeated up to that point topping Markham-Stoufville, Kanata, Ottawa Ice and tying Whitby.

The girls were also successful off the ice as they participated in a tournament wide fundraiser called "Abbey's Goal" and as a result were able to raise over $1000.00!  Abbey's Goal was founded after a terrible loss suffered by the Etobicoke Dolphins in where they lost one of their team mates this past season.   Abbey’s legacy will continue with Abbey’s Goal Memorial Fund.   The mission of Abbey’s Goal is to spread love by supporting the people and organizations actively engaged in fostering a compassionate and healthy society

Excellent job ladies!!! Keep up the good work!!
