Best of the Nest in Oakville
Congratulations to our girls on winning the Silver medal championship at the Oakville Best of the Nest Tournament this past weekend! 

The girls played some great competition this weekend beating Whitby, Pittsburgh, and Belle Tire in Round Robin play. Our 24 game win streak came to an end in our round robin game vs Stoney Creek in a great game that just didn't go our way but ultimately resulted in us playing in the Silver Medal Championship game. In the Silver Medal Championship game the girls fell behind 2-0 in the first period but regrouped and battled back to tie the game with Carlee Vance slamming the door shut in goal and Jocelyn Amos leading the way up front with 2 goals. The 10 minute OT wasn't enough to determine a winner so we went to a shootout where Carlee again slammed the door shut on Oakville and Clara Chisholm and Sydney Champion scored to bring home the hardware!!
Coaching staff is extremely proud of the girls in the way they stepped up and played hard against great competition and overcame adversity all weekend long! You were the best in the nest in Oakville!!
