Summer Camps are open to players from all associations

Cost: $375.00 per player, $225.00 per goalie (family discounts available)

Junior Summer Camp Goal:
To Challenge every Player to reach her full potential as a hockey player, as she continues to enjoy playing the game
Cost: $375.00
Includes: Each participant will receive a t-shirt, a hockey sweater and a fun filled week that she will never forget
Family Discount: $50.00
For the second and every subsequent child registered from the same family the cost will be reduced by $50.00
Goalie Cost: $225.00
There will be 4 goalies accepted per group and the fee will be only $225.00.They will also receive a t-shirt, a hockey sweater and a fun filled week that she will never forget
Age groups:
The camp will be divided into three age groups based on the player’s age for the 2019/20 hockey season:
Group 1: 2011, 2012, 2013
First day of camp registration time is 7:00-7:30 am with first on ice session starting at 8:00 am. Hockey player pick-up at end of day is 3:30 PM. (if required alternate pick-up time can be arranged).
Group 2: 2009, 2010
· First day of camp registration time is 7:00-7:30 am with first on ice session starting at 9:30 am. Hockey player pick-up at end of day is 3:30 PM. (if required alternate pick-up time can be arranged).
Group 3: 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008
· First day of camp registration time is 8:00-8:30 with first on ice session starting at 11:00 am. Hockey player pick-up at end of day is 5:00 PM. (if required an earlier drop-off time can be arranged).
Maximum group size:
- Each group of will be capped at 35 skaters to allow us to maintain the desired player to coach ratio
- Each group will also be capped at 4 goalies
Highlights of the week include:
- 3 hours of ice time per day
- 6 to 1 player to coach
- Daily power skating instruction to improve your game (stride, balance, agility, speed, explosive starts)
- Instruction on how to improve your puck control, passing and shooting skills both stationary and while moving
- Off ice sessions include team challenges, co-operative games, video and a variety of fun activities with members of the Devilettes Junior Team
- Each player will receive a personalized evaluation about their week at camp
- Showcase game at the last ice session on Friday
Special Appearance by Hall of Fame Player Jayna Hefford
Jayna Hefford is one of Canada's Greatest Female Athletes, having made her hockey world championship debut in 1997. In her time wearing the maple leaf, she has won four Olympic medals (three of them gold) and seven gold medals in 12 world championship appearances. Jayna was inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018. Jayna is also the current commissioner of the CWHL.
