The London Devilettes Girls Hockey Association (the Association) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on
Tuesday June 28, 2022 at the Full Multipurpose Room at Stronach Arena starting at 7:00 PM (doors opening at 6:00 PM).
This meeting is open to all Members (as defined in the By-Laws of the Association). An official Notice of Meeting will be posted on or before June 7, 2022 which will contain the Agenda and the names of candidates standing for election to the Board of Directors and the Executive. The Notice will also contain instructions on completing and submitting Forms of Proxy for Members unable to attend in-person.
If a Member wishes to have an item of business included on the Agenda, such Member must submit a Member’s proposal by email to Claudia Santagapita-Speiran at
[email protected] prior to Monday, May 30, 2022 at 11:59 PM.
Board Positions: There are 11 Director positions that will be open for nomination. Any Member in good standing and 18 years of age or older at the time of the AGM and who is not an undischarged bankrupt, may be nominated to be a Director.
Nominations for Director positions are open until Monday, May 30, 2022 at 11:59 PM and are to be submitted by email to Alice Tschen at

Nominations must contain the name and email address of the candidate to be valid.
Executive Positions: There are 4 Executive positions that will be open for nomination:
President,
Vice-President,
Treasurer and
Secretary.
To stand for election to the Executive, a candidate (i) must be a Director (either existing or elected as a Director at the AGM); (ii) cannot be a current head coach of a competitive team; and (iii) the following specific requirements must be met:

President – must have completed 1 full year as a Director of the Association within either of the last 2 years;
·
Vice-President - must have completed 1 full year as a Director of the Association within either of the last 2 years.
