2022 LDGHA AGM REMINDER & EXTENSION FOR NOMINATIONS
The deadline ate for submitting nominations for the Board of Directors and the Executive has been extended to Friday, June 3 at 11:59PM.
There are 12 Directors positions open for nomination. Any Member in good standing within the LDGHA and 18 years of age or older at the time of the AGM and who is not an undischarged bankrupt, may be nominated to be a Director. Nominations for Director positions are to be submitted by email to Alice Tschen at
[email protected] Nominations must contain the name and contact information for the candidate to be valid.
There are 4 Executive positions that will be open for nomination: President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. Please note that the requirement that a candidate for Vice-President must have completed 1 full year as a Director of the Association within either of the last 2 years, will not be applicable this year.
The other requirements that a candidate (i) must be a Director (either existing or elected as a Director at the AGM); and (ii) cannot be a current head coach of a competitive team continue to apply. Further, the requirement that a candidate for President must have completed 1 full year as a Director of the Association within either of the last 2 years continues to apply.
