In recognition of National Truth & Reconciliation Day tomorrow, September 30th, we invite all our Devilettes players, coaches and family to wear an orange shirt for the day. The orange shirt symbolizes how the residential school system took away the indigenous identities of its students.
The colour represents sunshine, truth-telling, health, regeneration, strength, and power in Indigenous culture. Additionally, as Canadians continue their reconciliation journey, we invite you to donate to Indigenous led charities such as the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund:

The LDGHA aims to better support our own Indigenous players as well as the First Nation communities around us.
