Competitive Registration for 2023-2024 Season NOW OPEN - Tips added to successfully register for tryouts below
Registration for U11 to U22 Elite / Juniors Competitive Tryouts (2023/2024 Season) is now open on RAMP!

Please scroll to the bottom to find some helpful tips when registering for tryouts.

Deadline to register for all AA and U22 Elite /Juniors teams is Sunday April 16th 2023.

***If you register after 11:59pm Sunday April 16th 2023  you MUST contact our Interim Competitive Director at  [email protected] to confirm you have been accepted to AA tryouts (as we are close to maximum capacity in some divisions)***

Existing Users (with RAMP accounts): please ensure you use the same login email you have used in the past for registrations; if you cannot remember the specific email address used in the past, please do not create an additional/new login - as this will create duplicate records in RAMP.

If you need help with your RAMP login, please send a request to [email protected] with your player’s name and birthdate.

New Users
: to register, please follow link to
RAMP Registrations and create a profile in the system.

Tryout Information

  • Tryouts to start April 19th, 2023 – please monitor our website and calendar for specific tryout dates, times and locations.
  • If you are coming from another female hockey association, please have your Permission to Skate (PTS) completed with your own association and ready to present at the first tryout. You will NOT be allowed on the ice without PTS forms presented ahead of time.
  • We will not be using TIN numbers this year (you will not receive one).  Please monitor team pages for further information throughout tryouts
  • Tryouts for U22 Elite/Juniors requires a separate registration from U18.  If you are trying out for U22 Elite/Juniors, you also need to register for U18 (unless you do not plan to play at LDGHA in our U18 program in the event you do not make LD U22 Elite / Juniors)
  • LDGHA’s 2-year rule remains
  • Any player under a OWHA suspension during the try out period must show proof of permission to try out from OWHA to the Competitive Director ahead of try outs ([email protected])

Helpful Tips for LDGHA  competitive tryout registration:

  • Please login under the same RAMP userid and player profile used for last season, if you create a duplicate login or profile your registration will not be accepted
  • The 2023-24 season is not yet active in RAMP, so tryout registration is under the 2022-23 season. Please use the division used for the current season and look for upcoming season tryout division you want in the registration package descriptions listed
  • Look for the correct registration for your player’s birth year. RAMP will indicate a registration age in a blue box for each division, but this age is based on the 2022-23 season so please follow the registration package descriptions
  • You will receive an email confirmation if your registration is complete, if you don’t receive an email please check that you have completed all waivers and paid the registration fees

Tim Hortons Timbits Hockey Program-THE FIRST GOAL IS HAVING FUN.:
The Timbits Hockey and Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that provides opportunities for kids aged four to nine to play house league sports. The philosophy of the program is not based on winning or losing, but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just being a kid. Our sponsorship includes jerseys, participation medals and a Timbits player gift for each player. Adding to the fun, Timbits teams are often invited to attend Canadian Hockey League (CHL), National Hockey League (NHL) and Major League Soccer (MLS) games to catch the action and showcase their skills between periods.
