Celebrate International Women's Day
The LDGHA Board of Directors is thrilled to share a special event celebrating the achievements and contributions of women in sports.
Hockey Canada's CEO (and Brescia alumna from 1986), Katherine Henderson as keynote speaker on March 7th 2024 at Brescia University College - click READ MORE for full details.
Katherine has a long history of advocating for women and other equity-deserving groups to ensure they are able to fully participate in and lead at every level of athletic organizations.
Katherine has had a longtime love for sports. She is a mom of two varsity athletes and has led several national sport and international games organizations; she has truly experienced how sports can transform lives and communities.
This event will be an excellent opportunity for members of the community to come together, share experiences and celebrate the many achievements of women and girls in sport.

What: Celebrate International Women’s Day at Brescia University College with Hockey Canada’s CEO, Katherine Henderson
When: March 7, 2024. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., Keynote begins at 6:30 p.m.
