The London Devilettes are thrilled to spotlight one of our own: alumna Julia Gosling, who has launched a dynamic new Skill Development Program for young female hockey players in the London area. Julia’s journey from Devilettes standout to national team member and professional player is one of excellence, determination, and heart. Now she’s giving back to the community that helped shape her.
From Devilettes to the National Stage
Julia began her hockey career with the London Devilettes, where her talent and leadership quickly stood out. Her success carried her to the international stage, representing Canada at the 2019 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship, where she helped Team Canada capture gold. She went on to a decorated NCAA career at St. Lawrence University, finishing with over 100 career points and a reputation as one of the most complete forwards in the ECAC.
Today, Julia competes professionally in the PWHL (Professional Women’s Hockey League) with the Toronto franchise, continuing to elevate her game at the highest level. But even as she breaks new ground in her career, Julia has remained rooted in her hometown community and passionate about growing the game for girls.
A Program Built by a Player Who's Been There
Julia's Skill Development Program is a comprehensive, athlete-centered experience designed to develop the whole player, on and off the ice. Her program focuses on foundational and elite-level hockey skills, leadership, and personal growth.
Giving Back to the Devilettes and the London Community
As a proud Devilettes alumna, Julia’s program reflects her deep commitment to the local hockey community and her belief in the power of sport to build confidence, resilience, and lifelong skills. Her initiative is about more than hockey — it’s about mentorship, empowerment, and giving young girls the tools to thrive.
The London Devilettes are proud to support Julia’s efforts and encourage our players and families to take advantage of this opportunity to learn from one of the game's best — and one of our own.
Congratulations, Julia — we’re proud of you, and we can’t wait to see the impact of your program on the next generation of Devilettes!
