Orillia Tournament Finalists
A shootout determined the winner of the Orillia Hawks Tournament this past weekend with the London Devilettes u18BB team coming up just short.
After an up and down round robin, the team put it together when it counted winning their quarterfinal game 4-0 against Toronto Leaside and then their semifinal game 1-0 versus Sudbury.
The Devilettes took on Mississauga in the finals and late in the back and forth affair it was 1-0 for their opponent. London refused to give up scoring with the goalie pulled to send the game to overtime. OT solved nothing and the never popular shootout commenced with only a single Mississauga goal being scored after the three rounds.
A well earned silver for the girls who came together and got better as the tournament went on.
