Hocktoberfest Champs!
The U18BB team got better as the weekend went on as they walked away with the gold medal at the Hocktoberfest tournament in Lakeshore.
After a 1-1-1 record to start the tournament, the team dug deep winning the next three without surrendering a goal. They scored with six seconds left to win 1-0 in their fourth game, won 1-0 in a shootout in the semi-finals, and then put a cap on the weekend with a dominating 5-0 win in the gold medal game.
The coaches were impressed with the determination and resiliency of the group throughout the weekend.
