AtomMC Black Ninjas Golden!
The Atomc Black Ninjas took home the gold medal at the St. Catherine's Brock Jr. Badgers tournament in dramatic fashion this weekend.
After winning their group and getting past a good Ancaster team in the semifinals, the Ninjas faced a tough challenge in the finals against a very strong host team, the Red Badgers.
The Ninjas fell behind 2-1 in the third period, but battled hard to tie the game with 40 seconds remaining.
Overtime saw numerous chances, but no goals thanks to some standout goaltending.The game was decided with a shootout and the Ninjas prevailed!
