Pre Tryout Notes
Please read thru the expectations and requirements of the Peewee AA 2014-15 team.

2014-2015

Peewee AA Competitive Team Information

The Peewee AA team, tryouts begin Monday April 22. Players are guaranteed two skates. Releases will be made following the skate Tuesday April 23.

Updates will be posted on the London Devilettes website http://londondevilettes.ca/ under “Peewee AA team site.”

For those players released I encourage you to attend the Peewee A tryouts beginning on April 29, 2014.

The final PeeWee AA  roster will be posted on April  28,  2014

The schedule will consist of a minimum of 2 mandatory on ice practices every week, minimum of one game plus tournaments. We anticipate your child will be on the ice a minimum of 140 hrs. Sept  to mid April.

****It will be expected that the PeeWee  AA team to be the first priority sport or activity for your child during the 2014-2015 hockey season. ****

If you have any concerns or question regarding the priority of hockey please touch base ASAP.

The team will participate in 4-5 OWHA tournaments through out the season. All tournament expenses are to be covered by the individual family. This will be discussed as a team and decided upon after those conversations take place.

Other cost at the expense of the family may include: team wear, red helmets and green pants. Red Helmet and LDGHA green pants are mandatory and required by the first practice in September.

I estimate a cost of $600-$800 per family to cover additional ice, referees, tournaments, development and minor incidentals.

This Team will become OUR team, your Daughter will be part of a team and we will be asking them to perform as a team, each with roles and jobs to complete. . The Coaching staff will provide a united front of collaboration and cooperation.  It will be critical for each family to take an active role in this year’s team.  The parent group is expected to get involved in a similar positive manner.  i.e. Coaching, manager, time keepers, website, fundraising coordinator, social coordinator, uniforms, water bottles and dressing rooms etc.

If you have any problems or concerns after reviewing the above or unable to make any of the commitments listed please contact me immediately.

I can be contacted by phone at 519-432-2744(home). 226-688-7785(cell) or by email [email protected] or [email protected]

Good Luck !!
