Coaching Philosophy
I will be posting tryout times shortly. I feel we have lots of talent and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.

My coaching philosophy is simple in respect to team cohesion, improving skills and having fun. My expectations are that I strive to have the hardest working team on the ice at all times while maintaining high spirits.

Practices will be at a fast pace and I ask that all kids to keep an open mind and except a coaches idea on how to improve on the ice, both as an individual player and as a teammate. 110 % effort is expected but I do realize we need to keep the fun in hockey or our daughters will lose interest.

The coaches will also expect all players to attend all dryland training, practices, team functions and games. I plan on attending between 4 or 5 tournaments on top of Weekend of Champs and Provincials so please keep that in mind for finance purposes.

There will be ZERO tolerance for any type of behaviour (player and parent) that is detrimental to the team, including and more importantly by text, social media, spectating and in the dressing room. These types of issues can bring an entire team down so it will be very closely monitored.

As a coach it is important for me to make sure that we all gel together and if we have a close team, we will fight harder for each other on the ice.  Our goal will be to improve all players to assist them in achieving higher levels of hockey if they wish to do so, be successful on the ice, be a close team, who cares and respects one another and to have fun.   See you at the rink.
