Welcome to
the 2019-2020 Peewee A Tryouts!
My name is Mark Hannam and I will
be the Head Coach of the Peewee A team for the 2019-2020 hockey season. This
will be my sixth season with the London Devilettes and I have been both a head
coach and an assistant coach in the organization. This past season, I was the Head Coach for the
Peewee BB team. I am very excited for the opportunity to be the coach of this
team and I am looking forward to a great season.
Selections for the team will be made with the assistance of an evaluation team made up of past and current LD coaches, LD board members and other members within the organization from other age groups and levels. There will also be independent evaluators from outside of our organization. None will have an association with any player trying out for the team. This group will play a vital role in the final roster selection through an unbiased evaluation system.
All tryout information will be posted on this website including tryout times, players moving forward and the final team roster. Please make sure you check this site frequently as information may change closer to each skate.
The tryout schedule is as follows:
GOALIE TRYOUT ONLY: Wednesday April 24 from 7:00 pm -8:00 pm at London Sports Park North
*All goalies trying out for any LD Peewee Competitive Team must attend the Peewee goalie tryout:
Tryout 1: Monday April 29 5:15 pm -8:15 pm -London Western Fair Collins Rink
*A list will be posted on Sunday April 28 for specific times that each player is to attend. This will be arranged by the player’s last name provided through Registration.
Goalies for each session will be listed by last name.
Tryout 2: Wednesday May 1 5:30 pm-7:30 pm-London Sports Park South INVITE ONLY
Tryout 3: Friday May 3 6:45 pm-8:15 pm Exhibition Game vs Waterloo -London Sports Park South INVITE ONLY
Tryout 4: Saturday May 4 6:30 pm-7:30 pm Exhibition Game @ Waterloo –Albert McCormick Community Centre INVITE ONLY
Tryout 5: Sunday May 5 11:30-1:00 -London Sports Park South INVITE ONLY
Please arrive at the rink at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time to sign your daughter in at the table, and receive your dressing room and jersey assignment.
Permission To Skate Forms:
Anyone who played in an OWHA association other than the London Devilettes last year MUST have a permission to skate form (PTS) from that association handed in at the registration table prior to taking the ice. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS ON THIS.
Key Reminders:
1. All players MUST be registered for 2019/20 via the LD website prior to attending try outs
2. Bring your own water bottle
3. Females only in the dressing room
4. Goalies bring your own jersey and please wear the same one the entire tryout
