WSC Lighting Systems wins HL Championship
The WSC Lighting Systems team Green capped off an excellent season by wining the Bantam HL Championship game over the Firecrackers. A tight checking affair that ended 1-1 in regulation, the game went to overtime with Team Green killing a late penalty. Overtime was back and forth with chances at both ends but settled nothing. An 8-round shootout was finally settled when Paige Galbraith turned aside the last Firecracker attempt after Jessica Couchie was able score on her attempt.
