A great effort by the team in Wilmot got Team White the Gold. Tight hard fought games all throughout with a 3-0 final the biggest spread. The last 2 games pre-finals were a 0-0 tie and a 1-0 win to ensure the team got to that final. 3 shutouts in a row made it all possible.

The White team had a solid weekend in St Thomas. Won every game up until the final without allowing a single goal until then. The girls were on fire. Be proud of those silver medals girls.

Congratulations to the Bantam Orange Team who won the Silver Medal in the Durham West Lightning Tournament. The tournament was held November 23-25th at the Ajax Community Centre.

The first practices are today (Saturday the 6th) and Tuesday October 9th. Coaches should've contacted everyone by now and if you haven't been contacted please contact me - John Northey - at [email protected]

Evaluations are over and teams have been selected - it appears that all 4 teams should be very equal to start (how things go from there depends on how girls improve during the season). All players should hear from their coaches shortly. The schedule is set for the first half (up to Christmas break) with games on Saturdays at Kinsmen B from 4:30 PM - 5:20 PM or at Kinsmen A from 5:00 PM to 5:50 PM. Practices are Tuesdays at Argyle A from 8:00 - 8:50 PM If you have the early Saturday game or Tuesday at Argyle B from 8:30 PM - 9:20 PM if you have the late Saturday game. Hopefully that makes it easier. With 4 teams it was easier to set up a balanced schedule.
