Junior Devilettes 18-19, Competitive Teams, 2018-2019, Int AA (London Devilettes)

The London Junior Devilettes have done it again!  Today, they made history, by winning the first ever gold medal for London at the PWHL Final 4 Championship tournament in Oakville. Coming off of a golden weekend at the Provincials, they faced the top teams in the league.  After three challenging round robin games, they were successful in advancing to the gold medal game against the tough Stoney Creek Sabres.  The game remained scoreless for almost 3 periods.  With 12.3 seconds left in the third, a hard shot from the point through lots of traffic resulted in a goal for London.  The win was ...

The London Junior Devilettes had another very exciting weekend!  After winning all 3 round robin games, they beat the KW Rangers 3-2 in the quarter finals.  In the semi finals, they won a hard fought battle against the Stoney Creek Sabres to win 2-1.  In the gold medal game they faced the league champions, the Kingston Ice Wolves.  Once again, despite a small roster, the Devilettes played with all of their mite and successfully won the game 3-0.  This is the first time in 15 years that the London Junior Devilettes have won gold at the Provincials.  Next weekend, they will play in the Final 4 ...

After successfully defeating the Whitby Wolves in the first round of playoffs, the London Junior Devilettes entered the second round against a tough Durham West team.  The series went the full five games with London winning the final game 5-2.  The girls now advance to the Final 4 tournament in Oakville on April 12th - 14th.  Congratulations!

This past weekend London Junior coaches and several family members attended two graduation ceremonies honouring the junior players who are graduating from the Devilettes Association.  This year 13 girls will graduate from the London Junior Team.  The players that were acknowledged were Jamie Johnson, Jaymee Nolan, Jessica Darby, Julia Gosling, Hannah Tait, Victoria Quance, Maggie McKee, Hannah Vickers, and Rachael Bentley.  Another grad ceremony will  be held in early March that will recognize Emma McKnight, Katie Clarke and Allyson Denstedt.  All the best to the graduating players in their ...

Recently, the London Juniors traveled to Ottawa for three league games against Ottawa, Nepean and Kingston.  While in Ottawa, the players, coaching staff and family members visited Parliament Hill to celebrate the success of Julia and Nicole Gosling and all of the members of U18 Team Canada.
