The London Junior Devilettes have done it again! Today, they made history, by winning the first ever gold medal for London at the PWHL Final 4 Championship tournament in Oakville. Coming off of a golden weekend at the Provincials, they faced the top teams in the league. After three challenging round robin games, they were successful in advancing to the gold medal game against the tough Stoney Creek Sabres. The game remained scoreless for almost 3 periods. With 12.3 seconds left in the third, a hard shot from the point through lots of traffic resulted in a goal for London. The win was very emotional as this game marked the end of minor hockey for thirteen graduating players. Congratulations girls! You have made London very proud!

The London Junior Devilettes had another very exciting weekend! After winning all 3 round robin games, they beat the KW Rangers 3-2 in the quarter finals. In the semi finals, they won a hard fought battle against the Stoney Creek Sabres to win 2-1. In the gold medal game they faced the league champions, the Kingston Ice Wolves. Once again, despite a small roster, the Devilettes played with all of their mite and successfully won the game 3-0. This is the first time in 15 years that the London Junior Devilettes have won gold at the Provincials. Next weekend, they will play in the Final 4 Championship tournament in Oakville.

After successfully defeating the Whitby Wolves in the first round of playoffs, the London Junior Devilettes entered the second round against a tough Durham West team. The series went the full five games with London winning the final game 5-2. The girls now advance to the Final 4 tournament in Oakville on April 12th - 14th. Congratulations!
