Atom B-608, U11, 2018-2019 (London Devilettes)

The Atom B Devilettes continued their string of successful tournaments by bringing home Bronze at the Mississauga Winter Classic tournament.  After allowing only 2 goals all tournament, the Devilettes edged out the Burlington Barricudas in the bronze medal game.  Congratulations to all the girls who played amazing Devilettes Hockey all weekend!

The Atom B girls played amazing hockey to take home Silver at the SCFHA Brock Jr Badgers Tournament. The girls finished atop the standings after the round robin portion of the tournament allowing only 3 goals in 4 games.  Advancing to the finals, the Devilettes faced a strong Buffalo Bisons team.  The two teams battled hard with Buffalo winning a high paced game 1-0.  Congratulations to all of the girls for playing tenacious, skilled Devilettes hockey all weekend!

The girls had tons of fun playing road hockey, meeting some famous people and a giant beaver at Rogers Hometown Hockey

First, I want to thank every girl who came out to tryouts and worked so hard.  Making final cuts is never easy, but this time it was particularly tough. I wish the girls who didn't make the team all the best and I hope to have the opportunity to coach them in the future. 

Thanks to everyone who played in St Mary's tonight and all of the players who didn't dress but made the trip!  I asked the impossible of the girls: Play strange positions, with strangers against a really good team, and you know what?  The girls really delivered.  We were right in it, only losing 2-1 with a goal in the last 5 minutes.
