The London Devilettes Board of Directors and London Juniors program are very pleased to announce Rachel Chantler as the Head Coach of the London Juniors U22 Elite team for the 2026 to 2027 season.
As a proud Devilettes alumna who graduated from the London Junior team in 2014, Rachel’s appointment represents a special full circle moment for our association. She knows firsthand what it means to wear the Devilettes jersey, to compete at a high level, and to grow within a supportive and competitive environment. We are thrilled to welcome her back behind the bench in this new leadership role.
Rachel brings exceptional leadership, character, and a deep commitment to building a strong team culture that prioritizes both performance and personal growth. Her hockey background includes five years of varsity hockey in the OUA with the University of Windsor Lancers women’s hockey team, where she served as team captain in her final two seasons. Since 2019, she has also been an assistant coach with the Devilettes U15AA team, supporting high performance athletes as they develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. This blend of high level playing experience and meaningful coaching within our own system makes her an outstanding fit to lead our Junior athletes.
As an elite female coach and Devilettes graduate, Rachel embodies the pathway we strive to create for our players, one where young women can grow from grassroots to Junior and eventually into leadership roles within the game. Her return to the Junior program is not only exciting for our current athletes, but also inspiring for the next generation of Devilettes who aspire to follow a similar path.
In Rachel’s own words: “I’m excited to create a strong, positive culture with an emphasis on player and team development and success! If you align with these values and think you would be a good fit for the U22 Devilettes, please reach out via email at
[email protected].”
On behalf of the London Devilettes Board of Directors, we extend a warm welcome to Coach Rachel Chantler and look forward to supporting her as she leads the London Juniors program into the 2026/2027 season. We are excited for what is ahead, for our players, for our program, and for the future of Junior hockey in London.
