Mississauga Winter Showcase Silver Medalists
Congratulations to the U18AA Devilettes on a great tournament weekend!
The Devilettes faced some great competition and battled hard in each game. Great goaltending and great game strategies took these athletes to championship game.
Tied at zero heading into OT, and again heading into the shootout, it was a nailbiting way to end the game. Eleven rounds of shooters, and some show-stopping goaltending kept the intensity high. After one goal each, the girls just couldn't close the deal. The Barrie Sharks took the win at the eleventh shooter.
This weekend was packed with great hockey, a fantastic effort, and a great finish!
Way to bring home silver, Devilettes!
