Taking Silver in Music CIty
The U18AA Devilettes made their way to Music City, Nashville, Tennesse this weekend for some great ice hockey and some good 'ole honky tonkin'!
The girls got to experience some of the great things Nashville has to offer - from sightseeing at the Parthenon, to visiting the state building, and heading down to Broadway for a true Nashville experience. They enjoyed some live country music, and ALOT of dancing!
On the ice, they faced some U19AA teams from Winnetka, Chicago, and Minnesota. In round robin play, they finished top in their division with two wins and a tie. In the finals, they fought a tough battle, out-shooting and out-playing the Minnesota Ice Cougars. They came up a little short, losing 1-0 to a strong competitor.
Thanks to the Nashville Jr. Preds for hosting a great tournament!
These Devilettes are excited and ready to bring what they learned to the last few regular season games!
